Seeking handwriting help for your child that will teach them how to write without any tantrums or them trying to use avoidance tactics?
You need our:
Online handwriting lessons
with Handwriting experts who are Occupational Therapists.
We offer individual handwriting lessons for children aged 6 to 16 years. Join us and discover the power of proven Occupational Therapy Techniques – Unleashing Great Handwriting Results!
Are you concerned your child is close to wanting to give up on practising their handwriting?
That’s where our specialised handwriting lessons step in.
Are online lessons as effective as face-to-face sessions?
Absolutely! Our online lessons are as successful as face-to-face sessions, if not more. In short, when we see each other on screen we are closer to them than if we were in the same room. This allows greater attention to detail. Above all, we can also adapt a lesson and change resources very quickly. Both ensure exceptional results and also provide a rewarding learning experience.
We'll make their learning a delightful and rewarding experience as you'll see us help them:
So, how does a handwriting lesson work?
Firstly, when you click on the button to book your lesson, you will be taken to a different webpage. Here you will be asked to book either a taster (one-off) lesson, a block of 6 lessons or a refresher lesson. A refresher lesson is only suitable if we have worked together before.
Next, you will be asked to video your child writing and for them to complete up to 5 worksheets prior to the lesson. This gives us everything we need to assess your child’s writing.
We use occupational therapy techniques and task analysis skills to make your child’s lesson enjoyable. So the hardest thing for them is deciding what games we are going to play. And remembering it is a handwriting lesson that has to end after 45 minutes!
Below is a picture of some of the games that we play when asking children to practice their handwriting. They say and then write down their answers. For us to see what they have written they hold the work up to the camera and we take a screenshot. This acts as a record of improvement but also helps us discuss areas to develop.
If you’re here thinking this is great but my child is 11 or over, we have a different page that you might find more helpful to read.
We have helped many parents like you.

Our lessons are a tailored handwriting programme that delivers real results. Every lesson is different from the others and we never repeat the same game-based activity unless asked.
Before our first lesson: Assessment
Uncover the secrets to a wonderful first meeting:
- You’ll film your child writing for 30 seconds to 1 minute before our first lesson. Firstly, they complete our worksheets. Then both are emailed back to us at least 24 hours before the first lesson.
- Before we see your child we use this emailed information to assess their skills in general. We look at handwriting biomechanics (grip, posture, paper angling) and letter fundamentals (size, formation, spacing, joins).
- Overall, we’ll need five things for our lesson to be a success:
- You and your child.
- A quiet room that’s free from distractions.
- A table, standard lined paper and pen/pencil.
- An internet enabled device (laptop, tablet or mobile phone).
- Access to Zoom.
